Endoscopy/Colonoscopy
This is a procedure whereby the doctor can visualize the gut to make a diagnosis and take samples for Laboratory examinations. It uses a fluoroscopic camera for both Upper Gastrointestinal tract(Gastroduodenoscopy) and Lower Gastrointestinal tract (Colonoscopy ).
Upper Gastrointestinal tract endoscopy is for the diagnosis and treatment of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum illnesses.
Lower Gastrointestinal tract endoscopy is for the diagnosis and treatment of rectum and colon illnesses like Hemorrhoids, Cancer, and Polyps.
