Radiology Department
Our Radiology department has a modern 3D/4D Ultra-sound machine that can do Doppler, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Echo (ECHO) Cardiograms. The Unit has a digital X-Ray machine that produces quality images.
The unit also provides the following services;
EEG – An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a recording of brain activity. During this painless test, small sensors are attached to the scalp to pick up the electrical signals produced by the brain. These signals are recorded by a machine and are looked at by a doctor.
Dental X-Ray – Dental X-rays (radiographs) are images of your teeth that your dentist uses to evaluate your oral health. These X-rays release low levels of radiation to capture images of the interior of your teeth and gums which helps your dentist to identify problems, like cavities, tooth decay, and impacted teeth.
CT Scan – Computed tomography(CT) scan is a useful diagnostic tool for detecting diseases and injuries. It uses a series of X-rays to produce a 3D image of soft tissues and bones. CT is a painless, non-invasive way for your healthcare provider to diagnose conditions.
Mammogram – An X-ray of the breast used to detect breast changes in women who have no signs or symptoms of breast cancer. Screening helps in the early diagnosis of breast cancer before a person develops symptoms.
X-ray Imaging – An X-ray is an imaging study that takes pictures of bones and soft tissues. X-rays use safe amounts of radiation to create these pictures. The images help healthcare providers diagnose a wide range of conditions and plan treatments. Usually, providers use X-rays to evaluate broken bones, dislocated joints and other bone injuries.
